Self knowledge

According to Maslow's theory represented in the pyramid below, the hierarchy of human needs is:

Maslow's Pyramid

THE FIVE STEPS OR LEVELS

1- INDIVIDUAL SURVIVAL
2- INSECURITY AND SURVIVAL OF THE SPECIES
3- POWER (Self-structuring of the system: politics, religion, business, finance, etc...)
4-SELF-KNOWLEDGE
5-SPIRITUALITY (Creativity)

To evolve, to grow as a person, it is necessary to go beyond steps 1, 2 and 3, it is necessary to reach the fourth step, take a quantum leap, and go to the fourth step, Self-knowledge, which is where the subject seeks information, he studies, learns, informs himself, clarifies himself, questions, debates, discusses, compares… all this in order to better understand himself and his fellowmen.

But how will he get to that stage, if he can barely get past the stage of looking for food, eating, looking for company, having sex, looking for shelter, paying rent, looking for a job, working, paying bills, looking for school for the kids, paying for school?

To reach self-knowledge, it is necessary to have solved the problems related to the previous steps, hunger, sex, power. But he (the subject) is still stuck on the issue that having sex is a sin, so forget about power and self-knowledge. Spirituality/creativity, so don't even think about it. The third psychological message also works here: “Knowledge is dangerous”.
